Lella Carl– Executive Director
Lella graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Elementary Education. This is her fourteenth year working at PreSchool Partners. Lella states that she is one of the lucky people who truly loves her job! She enjoys seeing the children learn the skills they need to be successful in school, as well as hearing feedback from their parents about how great they are doing once they start "big" school.


Allene Neighbors– Director of Development
Allene has a background and degree in marketing and journalism. Allene works closely with the Advisory, Executive and Junior boards to increase public awareness and maintain, strengthen and build donor relations. In addition, she works to design opportunities to enlighten and engage potential donors on the new and exciting achievements of PreSchool Partners.



Chappell Anderson – Teacher, Four Year Olds
Chappell attended the University of Alabama for three years and then graduated from UAB with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Although Chappell has taught preschool for over 19 years, this is her first year at PreSchool Partners. She explains that she is so excited to be a part of a program that is so beneficial to the students, parents and the community.


Angel Garret – Teacher, Four Year Olds
Angel is in her fourth year of teaching at PreSchool Partners. She has a degree in Elementary Education from UAB. Angel states that she enjoys teaching at PreSchool Partners because of the children and their parents and the reward of seeing the progress the children make during the school year.



Loretta Keller – Teacher, Four Year Olds
Loretta has a degree from the University of Alabama in Communications. This is her fourth year teaching at PreSchool Partners. Loretta explains that she loves her job and that the best part is watching the progress of the children – they are amazing!




Kelly Fisher – Teacher, Three Year Olds
Kelly is in her fifth year of teaching at PreSchool Partners. She has a degree in Education form Samford University and a Master of Divinity from Beeson Divinity School in Birmingham. She enjoys teaching at PreSchool Partners because she knows that she is preparing these children for the future and helping to equip their parents to become better parents in the process.



Beth Neal - Teacher, Three Year Olds
Beth graduated from Clemson University and earned a teaching degree in early childhood education. This is her third year teaching at PreSchool Partners. Beth says she loves PreSchool Partners because of the parental involvementand she feels like we are truly making a difference! It makes her happy to come to work



Marion Webb – Teacher
Marion attended the University of Alabama where she received her undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education. She received her Master's Degree, also in Early Childhood Education, from UAB. Marion has 18 years teaching experience as a kindergarten teacher in the public schools. This is Marion's first year to join the team at PreSchool Partners, and she looks forward to the opportunity of helping develop the stepping stones for future school success of her students. She is excited about working with parents, and involving them in their child's learning.

Ellen Webster – Teacher, Three Year Olds
Ellen graduated with a marketing degree from the University of Alabama. This is her third year of teaching at Preschool Partners. Ellen states that it is the most rewarding job she has ever held and that she receives so much more than she gives!!!



Teri Benson – Assistant Teacher, Four Year Olds
Teri Benson graduated from Carver High School and attended Miles College. This is her fifth year at PreSchool Partners. Teri likes the learning environment at PreSchool Partners and loves working with the four year old children and their parents.



Iola Blair – Assistant Teacher, Four Year Olds
Iola graduated from Carver High School and attended Samford University. She has been with PreSchool Partners for 9 years, but has worked with children for over 30 years. She also works with the youth at her church. Iola likes working at PreSchool Partners because of the caring environment and the structured curriculum.



Diane Curry – Assistant Teacher, Four Year Olds
Diane has a Child Development Associate Degree from Lawson State and has been in early childhood education for over 20 years, and with PreSchool Partners for four years. Diane enjoys teaching children and seeing how their eyes light up when they achieve their goals. Diane believes that children are the most precious gifts in the world and it's a blessing to have the opportunity to teach them.



Dorothy Turner – Assistant Teacher, Three Year Olds
Dorothy received a degree in Sociology from Miles College and has worked with children for over 22 years. She also worked with parents when she was with Childcare Resources. Dorothy has been with PreSchool Partners for 4 years and likes the program because it provides the children with all the tools and experiences necessary to promote learning now, and in the future.



Pam Winston - Assistant Teacher, Three Year Olds
Pam graduated from West End High School and attends Lawson State Community College, working towards her Child Development Associate degree. She chose Early Childhood Development because she loves working with children. Pam has been with PreSchool Partners for three years and loves every facet of the program.



Herman May - Sexton
Herman graduated form Hayes High School and then served in the US Army and is a Vietnam Veteran. He was a letter carrier for 31 years before retiring and coming to work for PreSchool Partners. Herman loves seeing the progress the children make during their time at school.
