Please note that our program is a partnership of parents and teachers working together to support their child’s educational process.  Parental involvement is a requirement of our program, even if you elect to pay full tuition and opt out of the Parent Program. Priority will be given to families who participate in the Parent Program on Mondays from 8:30-10:30.

The mission of PreSchool Partners is to provide an inclusive and diverse learning environment that prepares preschool children and their families for success through high quality curriculum, nurturing educators, parental engagement, and community collaboration.  We are a preschool and not a traditional childcare program.  We offer a highly structured learning environment teaching the academic and social-behavior skills needed for school readiness. We expect our students to enter our school ready to learn.  Our students must be 2 ½, 3, or 4 years old by September 1st to be eligible for enrollment.

PreSchool Partners is a partnership of parents and teachers working together to give the children the most successful start in school possible. We believe that parental involvement is crucial to a child’s success in school, which is why it is one of the main components of our program.  Parental involvement is required for all families enrolled in PreSchool Partners, including families who opt to pay full tuition. We want our parents as our partners, so we encourage our families to participate in the Parent Program, which qualifies them to receive reduced tuition. Priority registration in PreSchool Partners is given to families who choose to participate in the Parent Program.

Reduced Tuition Requirements:

We offer greatly reduced tuition to the families that participate in our Parent Program every Monday morning for the entire school year.  We recognize that everyone’s time is valuable, therefore the parents’ time on Monday mornings is considered a large portion of their child’s tuition. Reduced tuition is based on the total household income, so current tax returns are required to determine the tuition amount. The requirements to receive reduced tuition are as follows:

First Year:  A parent/primary caregiver must attend Orientation on the first day of school as well as the Parent Program meetings every Monday morning (8:30-10:30) for the entire school year.  There are 3 absences allowed per semester.  If a family misses 4 meetings, their child will have to sit out of school for one week.  If they miss another meeting after that, they will be required to withdraw from the program. Tuition is based on the total household income and ranges from $56.25 a month to $365.00 a month.

Second Year: A parent/primary caregiver must attend Orientation on the first day of school as well as one Parent Program meeting a month (8:30-10:30) for the entire school year. There are 2 mandatory Parent Roundtable meetings (one each semester) that can count towards the monthly meeting credit. There is one absence allowed per semester.  If a family misses 2 meetings during a semester, their child will have to sit out of school for one week.  If they miss another meeting after that, they will be required to withdraw from the program.  Tuition is based on the total household income and ranges from $56.25 a month to $365.00 a month.

Third Year: If your family has successfully completed two years in the Parent Program, then you will only need to attend 3 meetings per year in order to continue to receive reduced tuition. A parent/primary caregiver must attend Orientation on the first day of school as well as the 2 mandatory Parent Roundtable meetings (one each semester) for a total of 3 meetings for the entire school year.   There are NO absences allowed since the requirement is only for 3 meetings for the entire year.  If a family misses one of the meetings, it will have to be determined that the absence was unavoidable and they will have to make up the meeting in order to continue in the program.    If the absence is not determined to be unavoidable and is not made up, they will be required to withdraw from the program.   Tuition is based on the total household income and ranges from $56.25 a month to $365.00 a month.

Full Tuition Requirements:

There are 3 mandatory Parent Meetings per year, even if you pay full tuition.  A parent/primary caregiver must attend Orientation on the first day of school as well as the 2 mandatory Parent Roundtable meetings (one each semester) for a total of 3 meetings for the entire school year.   There are NO absences allowed since the requirement is only for 3 meetings for the entire year.  If a family misses one of the meetings, it will have to be determined that the absence was unavoidable, and they will have to make up the meeting in order to continue in the program.    If the absence is not determined to be unavoidable and is not made up, they will be required to withdraw from the program.   Full tuition is 8 equal payments of $730.00.

About the Children’s Program- Monday through Friday from 8:15 to 2:30

PreSchool Partners is a nonprofit program that primarily serves low-income families.  However, we recognize the importance and demand for diverse classrooms.  For this reason, we offer a limited number of spots (no more than 35%) for families who are able to pay full tuition rates.

Our mission is school readiness, so our program is very structured and teaches letter, number, color, and shape recognition, rhyming, beginning sounds, and name writing as well as social and emotional skills. We have small pupil/teacher ratios - 5/1 in the 2-year-old classrooms, 6/1 in the 3-year-old classrooms, and 7/1 in the 4-year-old classrooms. We have 2 highly qualified teachers in every room.  All lead teachers have degrees in education and the majority of the classes have 2 teachers with education degrees.

Curriculum

It is our belief at PreSchool Partners that children learn best through play. Our curriculum is based on research and best practices. We use the Creative Curriculum for Preschool, PATHS (Promoting Alternative THinking Strategies) Social Emotional Curriculum, Houghton Mifflin Every Day in Pre-K Math Curriculum, and the Zaner-Bloser Handwriting Curriculum. Teachers meet regularly to write, plan, and evaluate the curriculum. Our teachers and our curriculum encourage a life-long love of learning.

About the Parent Program

In the Parent Program, the parents will hear from speakers on topics that include age appropriate expectations, stress management, nutrition, challenging behaviors, and budgeting.  We also have a family literacy class called Families Reading Together.  Every week, the parents are given a children’s story book which is theirs to keep so they can establish a home library.  We read the book together and discuss ways to support their child’s reading readiness skills.  The families receive over 28 books during the school year.

2022 Summer Camp

PreSchool Partners is excited to offer a summer program for children ages 2 through 5 years old entering kindergarten in August 2022. We will have fun themes every week with art, games, and enrichment activities. Registration will be on a first come, first served basis. Families will need to pre-register their children so we will know how many teachers are needed for each session.

More information will be available soon.
