Please note that our program is a partnership of parents and teachers working together to support their child’s educational process. Parental involvement is a requirement of our program, even if you elect to pay full tuition and opt out of the Parent Program. Priority will be given to families who participate in the Parent Program on Mondays from 8:30-10:30.
Children’s Program- Monday through Friday from 8:15 to 2:30
PreSchool Partners is a nonprofit program that primarily serves low-income families. However, we recognize the importance and demand for diverse classrooms. For this reason, we offer a limited number of spots (no more than 30%) for families who are able to pay full tuition rates.
Our mission is school readiness, so our program is very structured and teaches letter, number, color, and shape recognition, rhyming, beginning sounds, and name writing as well as social and emotional skills. We have small pupil/teacher ratios - 6/1 in the 2-year-old classrooms, 6/1 in the 3-year-old classrooms, and 7/1 in the 4-year-old classrooms. We have 2 highly qualified teachers in every room. All lead teachers have degrees in education and the majority of the classes have 2 teachers with education degrees.
It is our belief at PreSchool Partners that children learn best through play. Our curriculum is based on research and best practices. We use the Creative Curriculum for Preschool, PATHS (Promoting Alternative THinking Strategies) Social Emotional Curriculum, Houghton Mifflin Every Day in Pre-K Math Curriculum, and the Zaner-Bloser Handwriting Curriculum. Teachers meet regularly to write, plan, and evaluate the curriculum. Our teachers and our curriculum encourage a life-long love of learning.
Tuition is divided into 8 equal payments. The first payment is due on the first day of school in August. There is no payment for the month of September or May.
$675 a month for regular school day (8:15-2:30)
Our program is unique in that we offer reduced tuition to families who participate in our Parent Program on Mondays from 8:30-10:30 am. Tuition is based on the total household income. All families, regardless of their income, are eligible for reduced tuition if they participate in the Parent Program. Parents must submit the current year’s tax return to determine tuition. Reduced tuition rates vary from the lowest amount of $112.50 a month to the highest of $309.38 a month for our regular school day of 8:15-2:30.
Early Care Tuition (7:15-8:15, Tuesday- Friday)
$25 registration fee, $40 a month or $5 daily drop in fee.
After School Care Tuition (2:30-6:00, Monday- Friday)
$25 registration fee, $50 a week or $20 daily drop in fee.
Parent Program-Mondays from 8:30 to 10:30
In the Parent Program, the parents will hear from speakers on topics that include age appropriate expectations, stress management, nutrition, challenging behaviors, and budgeting. We also have a family literacy class called Families Reading Together. Every week, the parents are given a children’s story book which is theirs to keep so they can establish a home library. We read the book together and discuss ways to support their child’s reading readiness skills. The families receive over 28 books during the school year.
